Football Clones | |
| There's a debate in the eShopAfrica office
as to whether these are "clones" or "colons" (as in the word "colonial"). They can
be found in many African countries and are often witty, keenly observed
parodies of the "colonial" occupiers. The colonisers have long
gone but the art form lives on so we think "clones" is more
appropriate. If you know more about the history of this fascinating art
form and how it evolved, please let us know. In the meantime, back to football... In this Gallery section you can find football clones including the world famous Arsenal player Thierry Henry (right). This is not one of our standard product lines but we are usually able to arrange special commissions - either of footballers or other professions. If you'd like your own clone please contact us. |

| A Bolton Wanderers Clone | |||
| A friend of eShopAfrica wanted something special for her husband's 50th birthday. He's a lifelong fan of Bolton Wanderers so she asked us to arrange a Bolton Clone with the number "50" on the back. We gave the clone makers a picture of her husband and a copy of the Bolton logo. The finished clone is spectacular! Her husband loved it and now it takes pride of place in their living room. | |||

| Abede Pele Clone | |||
| Abede Pele is Ghana's most famous footballer ever and his clone is one of the standard models found in the clone shops. He always wore the number 11 - as you can see - and Ghana's national team wear yellow! | |||
